WASILLA, ALASKA — Down for golfing at midnight, anyone? The BustaJack boys stop at Settlers Bay Golf Course late in the night and begin their round past 8 PM and have a clear and well-lit round of golf for this installment of their Golfin’ Old Glory series.
With perfect draws, even if off the toe, the first hole gets underway with a visibly tired Busta and a very animated Madjack. Both, with no greens in regulation on that first hole, begin to notice why Settlers Bay claims to have the best putting green in all of Alaska. Bogey-bogey start for the boys.
The course is very nice and solidly built, and there are people golfing before and after the boys. Do people even sleep in Alaska? 🙂
As usual, we are treated to some extraordinary golf and a great match between the boys. After 9, they are tied and start the back 9 with two pars. They finish the golf at 11:21 pm, Busta being ready for bed, and a win for one of them.
The final course rating was very suspect and a bit disrespectful to the fact that this course is in Alaska, you can golf at all hours of the day, and is quite respectable in all aspects. Just my thoughts. I got your back Settlers Bay!
