WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA — This week, we are watching golf at the East Potomac Golf Links course, in the Capital of the USA, as BustaJack continue their Golfin’ Old Glory golf series. This is a bonus round (an extra-‘State’) in their quest to play 50 grand golf courses in 50 weeks.
The course, a good muni-style course, is surrounded by Washington DC monuments and is witness to executive branch helicopters flying around. Not the best greens we have seen in the Golfin’ Old Glory series, but quite okay for what most of us golfers are used to (except those of you in country clubs (and not all country clubs, for that matter)).
Great golf from the boys, with some close calls on long chips and putts that almost went in, and others that did go in, being all square with two to play, they finish up with good scores after 9 holes and a win for one of the boys.
