COOL CLUBS REVIEWS — Some of the most trusted reviews in the industry come from Cool Clubs, which are based on robot testing using their in-house robot “Pepper”. All the collected data they offer from their testing and reviews comes from repeatable and consistent intended strikes inside a controlled environment. Needless to say, this is what you want when you want numbers you can trust, rather than a ‘good golfer’ hitting balls and getting differing information that way.
But, is the Titleist TSR3 (titleist.com) the right driver for you? I’d say so if you can generate some speed and can connect with the ball solidly, consistently. I know I’d love to own one someday and am looking forward to maybe getting fitted into one in the future. (Currently playing the Taylormade (taylormadegolf.com) Stealth 1, and I know I could get more yards with another driver…)
A friend I play with got one recently, and his carry increased by 30 yards going to about 320 yards total average, with a 115 mph clubhead speed average. Great driver! (He is also 6’4″ and shallows really well…that might have something to do with his distance, I suppose).
Well, this is a great review. I fully recommend that everyone visits Cool Clubs (coolclubs.com) and sees their reviews and testing on all sorts of clubs and brands.
