JOSH KELLEY GOLF — Wow, these guys can hit the ball! And for a change, they were draining putts too!
Micah, out of all people, still could not hit a fairway in the first three holes, but made some very key putts early in the video to combat Busta’s long one-putt drains and halve hard holes. It goes to show that, yes, hitting it long is fun and important, but if it does not go straight or finds a fairway, you better be a bit lucky to get good lies and have good approach and short game to get the ball back in play and stay competitive.
And so good was the putting that even after going in the water twice (one each player), BustaJack almost tied the hole with long putts that came so close and one was a lip-out. Busta’s hilarious quote: “if we keep our ball dry, you guys don’t have anything on us” really makes you chuckle, because that’s exactly the point. If you are OB or in the hazard, that is the shot you took and that speaks of your golf.
But the BustaJack boys did not give up, and even though Tig magically found a ball that had gone off the map (we have all played with guys who magically find balls that go way OB), they kept on fighting hard, winning the next hole.
